We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our growing team on a full-time basis.&nbsp;Responsibilities and Tasks but not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections, as per manufacturer guidelines.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy machinery, including tippers and mixers.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Disassemble and repair parts as required&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Conduct complex repairs and overhauls to ensure optimal equipment functionality including for drums, tipper mechanisms, mixers and dump bodies.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Reassemble parts and ensure all is in working order and repairs have been effective</li><li style="text-align:justify;">If required, revisit any repairs and ensure that the trucks and or equipment are in working order.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Conduct safety inspections on heavy machinery to identify and address potential safety hazards.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Utilise a variety of standard techniques,&nbsp;and materials&nbsp;such as&nbsp;manuals&nbsp;and/ or&nbsp;computerised equipment&nbsp;to&nbsp;accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical&nbsp;problems in vehicles.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Deliver repairs as required and ensure repairs are effective.<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Deliver preventive maintenance schedules for all client vehicles.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Drum, mixer and dump body maintenance activities.&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and inspections.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Order, track, and manage inventory of replacement parts and components.</li></ul></li><li style="text-align:justify;">Maintain accurate records of parts usage and reordering.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Document all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labour hours, and equipment condition.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Complete service reports and maintain records for compliance purposes.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Stay updated on industry advancements, new equipment models, and emerging technologies.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics or apprentices, if applicable.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Experience Required:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Certificate III and IV in Automotive with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Understanding of automotive workshop processes.&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Job Type: Full-time</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Location: Hoppers Crossing, 3029, Victoria</li></ul>If you are passionate about automotive mechanics and meet the requirements, apply now to join us.
