Join the YEM Technology Team – Refrigeration Technician

YEM Technology is seeking experienced Refrigeration Tradespersons to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.

This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster with both permanent and casual arrangements available.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMP E&I construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical systems and refrigeration and air conditioning equipment across site facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs across both trades
• Servicing split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Completing maintenance reports and documentation

What We Are Looking For
Essential:

• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Airconditioning
• WA Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
• First Aid and CPR (12 months)
• Working at Heights (5 years)
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) High Risk Work Licence
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Clean-shaven. Mask fit is mandatory and non-negotiable on site

Desirable:

• WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Other Trade Qualifications
• Previous FIFO experience
