Our client is a respected leader in the defence sector, working on high-profile fabrication projects across South Australia. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and precision, they are seeking skilled Boilermakers and Welders to join their team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Interpreting structural and fabrication drawings with a high level of accuracy.

• Fabricating and welding components for large, complex engineering and defence-related structures.

• Operating across MMAW and GTAW welding processes, including plasma and LPG/Oxy cutting.

• Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets strict quality and technical standards.

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication and welding activities.

• Supporting production in both day and afternoon shifts, working within a 9-day fortnight.

Skills/Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in fabrication and welding of large, complex structures

• Proven ability to read and interpret detailed structural drawings.

• Sound knowledge of various fabrication techniques and trade applications.

• Proficiency in welding processes such as GTAW and MMAW.

• Familiar with heavy engineering or shipbuilding is highly desirable.

• Ability to work to high quality and technical standards.

• Basic computer skills and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

What You Will Need

• Australian Citizenship – essential (due to defence project requirements).

• National Police Check – mandatory.

• Proven experience in a similar role in defence, heavy fabrication, or construction environments.

• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including DAS if required.
