Airswift is currently partnering with a well-established engineering contractor to source the following trade positions for current workshop assignments based in Henderson WA.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy team, with consistent hours and the potential for overtime and weekend work. All work is workshop-based in Henderson - Enjoy sleeping in your own bed every night! No FIFO for these roles.
Scope of Work
Depending on your trade and experience, responsibilities may include:
Workshop-based fabrication, welding, fitting, machining, blasting, or surface preparation
Working to drawings, weld procedures, codes, and standards
Welding processes including GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, MMAW
Working with carbon steel, stainless steel, duplexes, alloys, and exotic materials
Structural, plate, and piping work
Mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhauls
Maintaining strong HSEQ standards and quality documentation
Identifying hazards and working safely in compliance-driven environments
Assisting qualified trades and supporting inspections and testing (Trade Assistant roles)
What You’ll Need
Relevant trade qualification or proven workshop experience
Experience in industrial / marine / utilities / defence-style environments
Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Reliable work ethic and flexibility with overtime
Current driver’s licence
Current Police Check or willing to get one
