About the role

Heidelberg Mowers is seeking an experienced Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Heidelberg Heights, VIC. This full-time role will see you providing expert maintenance and repair services for a range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you will play a vital role in keeping our clients' equipment running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor power equipment
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and blade sharpening
Providing technical advice and support to customers
Maintaining detailed records of all work completed
Ensuring the workshop is kept clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary parts and tools

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in small engine repair or relevant trade certification is preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience as an outdoor power equipment mechanic
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
