Nu Style Shutters specialises in high-quality home improvement products, including roller shutters, outdoor blinds, security products, and louvre shutters. We are a growing business seeking an experienced and driven Outdoor Blinds Production Manager to lead our Malaga-based factory operations.

About the Role

As the Outdoor Blinds Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the blinds factory, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and team performance are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the blinds factory.

· Schedule and plan workforce to accomplish manufacturing and production timeline.

· Manage the employees individually and as a team.

· Observe, inspect, train, coach and develop staff in the factory and on site as and when required.

· Manage shift and employee's holidays in conjunction to Service & Installation Manager.

· Work in conjunction with shutter factory.

· Assist in the quarterly review process and daily reporting of behaviours of employees.

· Process blinds orders and check measures efficiently and precisely within 48 hours of receipt

· Act as a point of contact for the installation teams regarding queries to installation of blinds.

· Liaise with sales manager/sales reps to amend any discrepancies on contracts that requires price adjustment or any clarification.

· Liaise with main suppliers (Perth Vinyl and Vigar) to place new orders as and when required [Powder coating (in & out), angles, metal sheets and skins (3rd party suppliers)].

· Liaise with clients regarding installations, changes to sections, and pricing adjustments.

· Work closely with the scheduling team to coordinate delivery of blind jobs, installations, and priority jobs.

· Assist with measuring, production, installation, and delivery of blinds as required, including priority jobs.

· Conduct stock control on a regular basis.

· Implement quality control and quality improvement processes, document procedures and policies, upload and share improved work methods with employees in person and via staff portal.

· Assist in quantifying results of the department, documenting and recording key indicators of performance (weekly reporting of units and results).

· Report and communicate weekly in meetings with department managers and business owners.

· Work with technological tools and systems and follow company procedures.

· Establish clear goals that align with the company vision.

· Lead by example.

· Fill in for absences from management and workers if required.

· Maintain safety, cleanliness of the premises including factory, toilets, lunch areas and car park.

· Any other duties may be required.

About You

· Proven experience in production or factory management (ideally 3–5+ years)

· Experience managing staff, scheduling, and workflow planning

· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control

· Ability to read and interpret measurements, orders, and technical details accurately

· Good communication skills (able to deal with installers, sales team, and suppliers)

· Strong organisation and time management skills

· Commitment to workplace health & safety

· Valid driver's licence

A police clearance may be required for successful applicants.
