We are seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic (General) to join our skilled team. You'll be responsible for performing light vehicle logbook servicing, general mechanical repairs, wheel alignment, brake & suspension work, engine diagnostics, fluid changes and roadworthy inspections. We service cars, SUVs, utes, and 4×4 vehicles.

Task & responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in light vehicles.
• Conduct regular vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
• Identify and repair engine, transmission, and other mechanical faults.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess and rectify vehicle performance issues.
• Perform brake, clutch, suspension, and wheel alignment repairs.
• Conduct road tests to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all work meets safety and manufacturer standards.

Qualification & experience

• A minimum Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related qualification.
• At least 1 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work full-time (38 hours per week).
• Legal work rights in Australia.
• Ability to meet occupational health and safety requirements.
