Task & responsibilities

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
Carrying out repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems
Performing scheduled servicing and logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer requirements
Inspecting vehicles and identifying faults or additional repair needs
Maintaining accurate records of work performed
Repairing or replacing defective components including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and fuel systems
Testing and adjusting mechanical systems after repair
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Qualification & experience

AQF Certificate III or at least three years of relevant experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

High attention to detail
