About the role

Farrell Transport Group is seeking an experienced Truck & Dog Operator to join our team in Pimpama, Queensland. This is a Casual - full-time position that will involve the operation of our truck and dog trailers to transport a variety of products into the construction & civil industry. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our clients' products, while operating one of our late model well maintained truck combinations.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating truck and dog trailer combinations to transport goods across the local and regional road network
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe & fully compliant
Monitoring vehicle performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise along with maintaining the vehicles cleanliness & appearance at all times
Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations & rules and safety procedures
Providing excellent customer service
Maintaining accurate driver & delivery records and providing feedback on any issues encountered

What we're looking for

A current Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's license
At least 2 years of experience operating truck and dog trailer combinations
A strong commitment to safety and a track record of safe driving.
ALL Road Safety & Rules & company operational procedures adhered to at all times
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Maintain clear & productive communication with the Allocation Team & onsite personnel at all times
The ability to work independently and as part of a fast pace growing team
Potentially out of area & overnight stays may be required
