About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary plus superannuation. You will work with a wide range of vehicles in a modern workshop and have opportunities for overtime and professional development.

Key Duties

• Conduct preventative maintenance, logbook servicing, and safety inspections
• Detect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and auto-electrical faults
• Overhaul and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems
• Perform wheel alignments and tyre-related services, including fitting and puncture repairs
• Adjust and test mechanical components after repair to ensure proper performance
• Use specialised tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and safety standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
• Minimum of 12 month’s relevant post-qualification mechanical experience
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality service
