Here’s the good news – a rare opportunity for an energetic person to work in our busy maintenance team and be a part of our very community minded club has become available. The work is physically demanding but very rewarding, as you are a part of the hub that helps maintain the presentation of the club and keep everything running smoothly.

Some of what you’ll be doing:

• Plumbing repairs 

• WH&S and legislative compliance

• Quality control and continuous improvement

• Preventative maintenance

• Reactive work and repairs

• General handyperson work including some carpentry

• Maintenance and cleanliness of outdoor, workshop and garbage areas

• General housekeeping/cleaning

• Garden maintenance and landscaping

Ideally you will have:

• Trade qualification in plumbing

• Knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs

• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise

• Able to work at heights (ladders/roofs) and in small spaces (not confined)

• Able to work in a team environment or unsupervised

• Current driver’s license

Some other stuff we’d like:

• Emergency warden experience

• Fire extinguisher certification

• Previous general maintenance experience in a large facility

The role is generally Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.30pm, however some flexibility will be required.
