About the role

Roof Right Adelaide is seeking a dedicated Roof Plumber Apprentice or Tradesperson to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in Adelaide, SA 5000, and offers the opportunity to work with a well-established and respected building trades company. You will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing systems for our diverse range of residential, high end architectural and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of roof materials
• Troubleshooting and resolving roofing issues, such as leaks and structural problems
• Providing expert advice to clients on the best roofing solutions for their needs
• Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion
• Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all relevant safety regulations
• Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Completion of a recognised Roof Plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent experience as a Roof Plumber Tradesperson
• Strong understanding of building codes, roofing materials, and installation techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex roofing issues
• Proficient in the use of roofing tools and equipment, including ladders, scaffolding, and power tools
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all relevant safety protocols
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
