We’re excited to be continuing to build our team.  We are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to  join our team. This is a fulltime permanent position

 The key responsibilities for the role include

• Daily Mechanical duties

• Workshop repair and maintenance of diesel trucks and trailers

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs, including diagnosis and troubleshooting

• Accurately record all work carried out and book out parts correctly

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and look for improvement opportunities

• Effective time management.

• Adherence to safe working practices.

• Maintenance of a clean and organized workshop environment.

Desired candidate profile

 AQF Certificate III as a Diesel Motor Mechanic (Heavy Commercial Vehicles) or equivalent trade qualification qualifying for registration for an NSW Motor Trades Persons Certificate.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel truck mechanic.

• Ability to operate with  minimal supervision

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Computer experience would be desirable

• Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient operation and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Current forklift licence

Remuneration

$73,000 – $83,000 per annum

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
