Villawood Timber is a family-owned company distributing timber & building materials across Sydney since 1987. Due to ongoing growth within the business, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced HR Crane Truck Driver to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a HR Crane Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate our crane trucks, transporting heavy loads to various sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving HR-rated vehicles, operating crane/hiab equipment, and ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HR Crane Trucks to deliver equipment and machinery to various locations.

• Safely load, unload, and secure cargo using the truck’s crane.

• Maintain an excellent driving record and adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations.

• Ensure the proper handling of loads and securing of materials during transport.

• Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain the truck’s cleanliness and readiness.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.

• Keep accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and inspections.

• Work with site managers and customers to ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Key Requirements:

• HR Truck Licence (Heavy Rigid Licence) with experience driving crane-equipped vehicles.

• A clean driving history.

• Ability to operate a truck-mounted crane

• Strong focus on safety and following operational procedures.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Good physical fitness to assist with loading/unloading and securing of goods.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
