Duke is the choice for many of Melbourne's largest timber merchants, wholesalers and timber yards.  We specialise in Contract Wood Machining - being, Dressed boards, Bandsaw riping, custom profiles and components for Windows, Stairs, Fencing, Decking, Flooring, Cladding, Architraves and many other products for the building trade.

We are a small operation, but together we achieve great things.  Due to the expansion of our business, we are seeking the skills of an experienced Wood Machinist, that can assist with all facets of our long standing, contract wood machining business. Mainly the operation of our Weining Moulders, Forklift and Bandsaw.

• Considerable experience in Wood machining, milling and machine operating.

• Familiar with Weinig moulders.

• Can safely operate a Bandsaw.

• Has a Forklift Licence.

 What is the Job?

• Loading and Unloading Trucks using our forklift.

• Moving Packs to Machines.

• Forklift Operating.

• Tool Sharpening.

• Tool Grinding.

• Set up moulder tooling.

• Set Up Weinig moulder for Profiles and or square dressing.

• Bandsaw in-feed and out-feed.

• Machining Timber to customers' orders. 

• Achieve accurate and quality finishes.

• Moulder In-feed and out-feed.

• Strapping up finished packs of timber.

• Recording Tallies.

• Fault checking.
