About the role

Plymaster is seeking a skilled Joiner / Wood Machinist to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. This diverse, full-time role will see you working as part of our dynamic customer service, carpentry & cabinet making crew, contributing your expertise to the creation of high-quality custom woodwork.

What you'll be doing

• Liaising with customers in person and on the telephone to deliver appropriate goods and service for their needs

• Basic computer and eftpos operation

• Operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to fabricate a variety of custom joinery and cabinetry components

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise and accurate workmanship

• Collaborating with the design team to offer practical solutions and recommendations

• Some offsite work as required

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality control processes

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Joiner or Wood Machinist, ideally within a Carpentry & Cabinet Making environment

• Proficient in the use of a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-focused attitude

• Current driver's licence and ability to travel to customer sites as required
