Construction Site Labourer

Our continued growth and success have created an opportunity for a Site Labourer to join our dynamic and high-performing construction team at Rendition Homes.

 

The Position

With sites located both north and south of the city this is a full-time labouring position supporting our on-site construction division. The standard workday begins at 7:00 a.m. and finishes at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

·         General labouring duties including lifting, measuring and clean up

·         Cleaning and tiding of sites and facility as required

·         Assisting Site Supervisors as required

·         Picking up deliveries as required

·         Ability to work independently or in a team environment

·         Basic familiarity of construction tools and equipment

·         Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite

·         Loading and unloading of construction material

·         Erecting and dismantling temporary structures as required

·         Following safety procedures and ensuring the site remains hazard free.

Requirements for the role

·         Previous experience in construction or building labouring is preferred but not essential

·         Good handyperson skills

·         Full driver’s license

·         White and Yellow (SL) card or be prepared to obtain one.

·         Previous work references are required
