About the Role

This is a senior, hands-on concreting position working across large-format industrial and commercial slab projects. You will play a key role in project delivery, operating specialised equipment, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet strict industry standards.

Projects are primarily located south of the river in Perth, working across multiple active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Large-scale industrial slab preparation and placement

• Site preparation

  • Levelling, spreading, reinforcing, and finishing concrete

  • Forming and installing concrete panels

  • Ride-on trowel machine use (panning and finishing)

  • Hand screeding

• Installation of reinforcement and formwork systems

• Placement, spreading, screeding, and finishing concrete

• Forming and installation of concrete panels and structural elements

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• Maintaining strong site safety standards and compliance

• Supporting and guiding junior crew members where required

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial or industrial concreting

• Proven experience delivering large-format slab projects

• High-level competency operating ride-on trowel machines

• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing processes

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Sound understanding of construction methodologies and safety practices

• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes

Essential Requirements

• Previous construction industry experience

• High-quality workmanship aligned with industry standards

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Safety-first mindset

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work outside normal hours if required

• Full driver’s licence and own transport

• White Card (construction induction)
