DROPTRUCK PTY LTD is Australia's leading designer and manufacturer of lightweight truck bodies for electric commercial vehicles. We are seeking an experienced EV Truck Mechanic to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair electric trucks
• Perform maintenance on high-voltage battery systems and electric drivetrains.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic software to identify and rectify faults.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and pre-delivery inspections of new electric trucks.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Australian standards.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' recent experience working  as an EV Mechanic.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing electric commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage battery systems, electric drivetrains, regenerative braking systems and EV diagnostics.
• Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Relevant licencing for NSW or ability to obtain
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (written and spoken)

Desirable

• Experience with electric light or medium-duty trucks.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software.
• High Voltage (HV) certification or equivalent training.
