Experienced Motor Mechanic – Midas Para Hills Tyres & Auto Service Centre (SA)

Location: Para Hills, South Australia

Employment Type: Full-Time Midas Para Hills Tyres & Auto Service Centre is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our friendly, professional team. We are a well-established workshop offering a full range of mechanical, servicing, and tyre solutions to our loyal customer.

Task & responsibilities

About the Role:

Performing general mechanical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
Conducting diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
Carrying out logbook servicing and roadworthy inspections
Ensuring all work meets Midas quality and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
Conduct vehicle inspections
Keep accurate records of work done
Assisting with daily workshop operational tasks
Ensure quality workmanship
Adhere to safety guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members
Provide excellent customer service

Qualification & experience

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Minimum 2.5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer service
Strong diagnostic skills
Valid driver's license
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
