Task & responsibilities

About the Role:

• Performing general mechanical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
• Conducting diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
• Carrying out logbook servicing and roadworthy inspections
• Ensuring all work meets Midas quality and safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections
• Keep accurate records of work done
• Assisting with daily workshop operational tasks
• Ensure quality workmanship
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualification & experience

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Minimum 2.5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer service
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
