Task & Responsibilities

Repair damaged or faulty electrical parts, install of new systems and equipment and carrying out routine maintenance
Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems & accessories
Diagnose, identify and repair or replace electrical faulty components
Performing electronic diagnostics on heavy duty equipment and other vehicles to identify faults
Repairing electrical and electronic faults on heavy duty and earthmoving equipment, replacing damaged/faulty parts where necessary
Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work
Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems on heavy duty and earthmoving equipment
Preparing time and cost estimates for customers
Performing routine revision and maintenance on heavy duty and earthmoving equipment

Qualification & Experience

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
Proven experience as an Auto-Electrician - minimum 3 years
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
Ability to work independently
Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt
