About the Role: GCAC ENTERPRISES PTY LTD ATF GCAC Unit Trust is seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. As a Motor Mechanic with us, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and fixing problems with engines and vehicle parts.
• Taking apart and inspecting engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the automotive repair industry and implement new techniques and practices as appropriate to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Replacing worn-out parts and putting mechanical parts back together correctly.
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts to make sure they work well after repairs.
• Utilizing computer diagnostic tools to efficiently test and assess vehicle components.
• Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals when necessary.
• Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, issuing certificates for those that pass, or providing a list of necessary repairs to meet the required standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups
• Advice customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements
• Follow safety procedures. 

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Automotive with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Understanding of automotive workshop processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
