About the role

GAC Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant & Stock Controller to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily financial operations, provide administrative support, and handle vehicle stock control. You will ensure accurate financial records and compliant vehicle registration processes, supporting the smooth running of both business operations and sales.

Responsibilities' include, but not limited to:

• Process vehicle deals and perform cost analysis, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

• Maintain and update systems related to deal processing and vehicle costing.

• Manage vehicle deal archives and handle all necessary paperwork for vehicle registrations in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate internal and external audits of vehicle inventories and delivery processes.

• Allocate and reconcile credit card payments for vehicle registrations.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end accounting activities.

• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Update and maintain vehicle records in the system, ensuring compliance with NSW Department of Transport regulations.

About you:

• Accounting Degree from recognized University

• A strong intellect and ability to learn quickly

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• An ability to investigate, understand and overcome processing variances.

• At least 2 years’ experience in an account’s role.

• Ability to prioritize tasks

• A pattern of dependability in work environments

• Exposure to the sales team and involvement in systems training

• Ability to work under pressure

• Flexibility and willingness to learn

• A confident and helpful attitude

• Attention to detail

• Experience with MS Office applications

• Must be available to work on weekends

• Fluent in Mandarin.(Preferred)
