Key Responsibilities Management Accounting & Analysis (around 50%) - Lead OPEX analysis, including detailed variance analysis vs budget/forecast - Perform deep-dive analysis on logistics and supply chain costs (freight, warehousing, distribution, landed cost) - Identify key cost drivers and provide actionable insights to optimise cost efficiency - Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including data collection and modelling - Develop and maintain regular management reports and dashboards - Conduct trend analysis, scenario modelling, and profitability analysis - Work with large datasets to improve visibility on operational performance Financial Accounting & Compliance (30–40%) - Support month-end close (journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations) - Support rebates accruals calculation with Sales manager - Prepare the monthly BAS and quarterly ABS report and other tax compliance reporting - Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate cost allocations - Support audit requirements and financial reporting deliverables - Assist in improving accounting processes and controls Business Partnering & Reporting (20–30%) - Act as a finance business partner to operations and logistics teams - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business drivers and support decision-making - Assist to prepare high-quality presentations (PowerPoint) and reports - Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives - Assist in building and enhancing reporting capability using Excel and Power BI (preferred) About You - Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline - CA/CPA qualified or in progress - Around 4–6 years’ experience in accounting / finance roles - Strong grounding in financial accounting - Proven experience in management reporting and variance analysis Technical Skills Essential: - Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, data modelling) - Strong analytical and problem-solving capability - Experience working with ERP systems, eg.
