About the role

We are seeking an experienced Seamstress or Tailor to join our team at Diya's Alteration's in Beenleigh, Queensland. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent and passion for sewing, alterations and tailoring.

What you'll be doing

• Expertly altering, repairing and tailoring a wide range of garments and accessories
• Providing exceptional customer service and advice to our clients
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure efficient workflows
• Collaborating with the team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Staying up-to-date with the latest sewing techniques and industry trends

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Seamstress or Tailor, with a strong portfolio of previous work
• Excellent sewing, alterations and tailoring skills, with an eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice
• Familiarity with a range of sewing machines and equipment
• Passion for the Trades & Services industry, particularly Tailoring & Dressmaking
