Alter IT is seeking an Alterations Specialist/ Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our growing team in Mount Gravatt, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and contribute to the success of our tailoring business.

What you'll be doing

• Perform high-quality alterations on a variety of garments, including clothing, uniforms, and accessories

• Operate industrial sewing machines with precision and efficiency to produce flawless results

• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions

• Assist with the overall operations of the alterations workshop, including maintaining a clean and organised workspace

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service delivery

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in the Tailoring and Dressmaking industry, with a strong understanding of industrial sewing techniques

• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment
