Sarina Tavra Bridal Couture is a small family-owned company operating since 2013.  We are seeking a bridal dressmaker/ sewing machinist to work at our boutique in Armadale, VIC.   The role: Working independently to construct bridal gowns and customer orders Working alongside our couturier custom-made bridal gowns   The requirements: Experience using industrial sewing machines, including overlocker Experience trimming fabrics or textiles Experience in pinning garments Experience working in the bridal industry is strongly preferred.   Flexible work hours with casual and part-time arrangements available.

Prea James Bridal is looking for an experienced bridal couture or high-end fashion sample machinist/ dressmaker to work from our Sydney head office in Alexandria, NSW.  The right candidate will be working alongside our wonderful team of in-house seamstresses as well as working closely with the design team, making our bride’s made-to-order gowns from both our core collection and also our demi-couture range of high end gowns, as well as working on new design development.  We are looking for a senior machinist with experience working with couture techniques, luxury fabrications and finishes, who understands how to read patterns and can both follow a sample but also come up with new ways to construct garments during the design development phase.

About Us  Thrust Maritime is a niche business that develops and operates marine subsea lifting solutions.  The core of our business is the design, development, manufacture, installation and operation of launch and recovery systems (LARS) for subsea operations.     We are looking for experienced boilermaker-welders to join our busy and productive production team in Dandenong South. You will be a key member of a small highly skilled team where your initiative and ability to work autonomously will be valued.  There is a wide variety of work as we are a project-based organisation with many different types of customers.   Your Role You will be welding and fabricating complex structural marine systems using A-grade materials.  From time to time you will be part of our site operations team installing equipment on ships and conducting vessel alterations as well as supporting the maintenance and operational readiness of our major marine rental assets.  You will also be involved in manufacturing and testing our latest products as they are developed as well as an active participant in growing and improving the factory capability.   In our Dandenong South facility we are currently manufacturing a sophisticated Launch and Recovery system for the emergency ventilation of submarines (a major European country).   Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following attributes and experience: Relevant trade qualifications.
