• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive and mechanical repairs
• Must have their own tools
• Minimum 1 year experience with Honda vehicles is desirable
• Experience in servicing and repairing vehicles
• Experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Must be capable of working in a team with senior motor mechanics
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be living in Melbourne with a valid drivers license

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance (e.g oil changes, batteryreplacement)
• Inspect vehicles and parts to identify issues
• Repair vehicles and parts based on identified issues
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure soundness and determine whether there are further issues(including manual transmission)
• Use computer diagnostic equipment and software to identify issues 

Occupational Health and Safety Duties:

• Maintain and follow all OH&S guidelines set in workshop for safe working conditions.
• Cleaning the workshop area, maintaining all the tools and putting the stock in the parts room
• Eliminating, reporting or advising management to avoid , eliminate or minimise potentially hazardous work related condition or practice.
• Communicating effectively with all work mates and ask assistance if required
