About the role

A permanent full-time opportunity now exists for an energetic and reliable Storeperson/Delivery Driver to join the team in Darwin.

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will demonstrate your exceptional customer service and warehousing skills daily.

In this role, you will be carrying out the day to day warehousing duties as well as providing sales support to the retail store, which includes battery fittings to different types of vehicles.

You will also be required to deliver batteries and associated products to our customers in the region.

The main responsibilities of the role, whilst not limited to, include:

• Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials;

• Picking and filling orders from stock;

• Packing and shipping orders;

• Organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse;

• Delivering products to customers;

• Assisting with retail sales and battery fittings;

• Providing outstanding customer service to all internal and external stakeholders;

• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace;

• Adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.

• This role requires a high level of fitness as you will be regularly lifting and handling batteries.

About you

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following key competencies:

• Forklift licence with proven experience

• Driver licence with a clean record.

• Physically fit and willing to lift batteries of up to 25 kgs on a regular basis

• Previous experience working within the automotive industry will be advantageous

• Excellent inventory and housekeeping skills

• High levels of integrity and reliability

• Strict Safety & OHSE Policies awareness

• Computer Literate
