We are currently seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced individual with a solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures.

Task & responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose faults in vehicle engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and other mechanical systems.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, gearboxes, and associated components for detailed inspection and repair.
• Repair, replace, and reassemble worn or defective mechanical parts following manufacturer specifications and service manuals.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, and filter replacements to enhance performance and ensure compliance with emission standards.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to determine mechanical condition and issue roadworthiness certificates or identify necessary work for compliance.
• Test, calibrate, and adjust mechanical components and systems post-repair to confirm optimal operation and performance.
• Utilize computerized diagnostic and testing equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults accurately.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle systems such as cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all workplace safety and environmental procedures.
