About the role

This is a full-time Motor Mechanic position at Keith Adamson Automotive Repairs Pty Ltd  at 10A, Burgay Court, Osborne Park, WA, 6107. You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair & servicing of a wide range of motor vehicles. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that requires technical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnose faults in motor vehicles 
2. Discuss problems with drivers to discover faults
3. Repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble mechanical components 
4. Test and adjust repaired sub-assemblies, and re-install them 
5. Tune engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations 
6. Re-line and adjust brakes 
7. Change oil and filters, and lubricate vehicles 
8. Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems
9. Repair steering systems, suspension systems and hydraulic braking systems 
10. Carry out service operations and diagnostic procedures.
11. Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade or three years full time experience if no relevant qualification
2. Minimum one year full time experience or equivalent part time relevant experience 
3. Strong knowledge of motor vehicle and repair methods
4. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
8. A valid driver's licence 

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Pay: $75000.00 – $80000.00 per year (plus Superannuation)

Work Location: In Person (Osbourne Park)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Minimum 38 hours per week)
