Apprenticeships – Bricklaying & Carpentry (All Years)

ABOUT US:
BODA Building Group is a growing construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Perth. We are currently seeking motivated Apprentice Bricklayers & Carpenters (all years) to join our team.

THE ROLE:
This is a full-time role with ongoing on-site training, providing exposure to a variety of carpentry tasks across multiple projects. If you are creative, like working with your hands and enjoy working outdoors, you should consider Bricklaying and if you

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Bricklayer Apprentice)

• Assist in laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials

• Learn how to read building plans and measure materials accurately

• Help with preparing mortar and setting out job sites

• Develop skills in using industry tools and equipment

• Gain practical, on-site experience alongside experienced tradesmen

• Work on both residential and commercial construction projects

• Participate in site preparation and clean-up

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

• Collaborate with other trades and team members

• Complete formal training and vocational education requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Carpenter Apprentice)

• Perform carpentry: framing, eaves, fit outs, cladding, wall and roof installation

• Assist carpenters with daily construction tasks (1st Year / 2nd Year / 3rd Year)

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

• Operate hand and power tools safely

• Participate in site preparation and clean-up

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Physically fit and enjoys working outdoors

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to learning a trade

• Works well as part of a team and follows instructions

• A White Card is essential

• Willingness to complete your apprenticeship while working full time
