Holmes Panel & Paint is a well established Smash Repair business located in the Ipswich area (Raceview). We are currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our team of skilled professionals to produce high quality, timely vehicle refinishing. 

Holmes have achieved I-Car Gold Class status in recognition of our teams' commitment to ongoing training and development. This is the highest role-relevant training accreditation recognised by the collision repair industry in Australia.

In the position of Spray Painter you will be employed on a full-time basis and be required to work between the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 2:00pm on Friday with overtime available when required.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Preparation of vehicles for paint
• Colour matching
• Refinishing vehicles utilising Glasurit waterborne paint
• Polishing refinished areas
• Monitoring paint use and reducing waste
• ​Completing relevant paperwork as directed by the Manager
• Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment

In addition, the successful applicant will also possess the following skills and attributes:

• Hold a Trade Certificate
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Be a team player
• Experience in working with waterborne paints
