We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting and finishing vehicle surfaces to a high standard, ensuring quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Task & responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking and priming before painting
  • Mix and match paint colours to achieve the required finish
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other specialised equipment
  • Ensure a high-quality finish and attention to detail on all vehicles
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Maintain painting equipment and ensure the workspace is clean and safe
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Qualification & experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar vehicle painting or automotive refinishing role
  • Good knowledge of automotive paint products, tools and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management skills

Qualifications:

Relevant industrial or trade qualification in automotive refinishing/vehicle painting is desirable but not mandatory
