Task & responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Diagnose and test mechanical and electrical parts using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Dismantle, inspect, and remove engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other key components for repair or replacement.
• Repair and replace worn, defective, or damaged parts, using service manuals and technical guidelines as needed.
• Reassemble engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components after repairs are completed.
• Test and adjust repaired mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Identify and diagnose faults in engines, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and, if certified, issue roadworthiness certificates or provide detailed reports for required repairs.
• Respond to roadside service calls and perform mechanical repairs on-site as needed.

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification and a minimum of 1-year full time experience as a Motor Mechanic
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
