About the role 

Join a hands‑on team installing and maintaining signage across Parramatta’s public spaces. Your work helps keep the city safe, easy to navigate and looking like a Global City. 

What your day to day may look like: 

• Installing, repairing and maintaining a range of Council signage
• Inspecting signs and public areas to spot hazards or damage
• Following job schedules and completing work to set standards
• Helping other teams during wet weather or emergency situations
• Using an iPad/Worx Online to record and update job details
• Working safely, efficiently and with minimal waste
• Sharing ideas to improve tools, processes and how work gets done

What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1217.08 to $1340.69 plus 12% superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.

What we are we looking for: 

You are a team player who is reliable and enjoy working outdoors. You will bring a positive, team‑focused attitude and experience in sign installation or a similar trade/operational role.

You will also bring: 

• Basic tech confidence (iPad/job systems)
• Confidence using hand tools, power tools and equipment
• The physical ability to handle manual tasks and work at heights if required
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Licences

• Current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class C).
• Construction industry certificate “White Card
