Bestoh Productions are event builders specialising in the delivery of event activations and structures for creative clients. We focus on all different types of events and exhibitions. Some of the events & exhibitions we get to work on are:

We have a variety of different clients that we build and deliver for at these events, some of which are below:

We’re looking for someone with a strong carpentry or shop-fitting background to help us with the build and delivery side of our business. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver as most of our builds are unique in form & function. Additional experience in team leadership and a desire to develop new building techniques with our machinery will assist the applicant to get this role.

Working with Bestoh Productions:

• Our workshop base is in Mulgrave but we deliver events all over Melbourne and sometimes interstate. 

• We are a small team that believe in teamwork and sharing ideas to solve problems.

• We work on a variety of events, which means no two days are the same and we avoid the dreaded monotony that other industries may have.

• Being an events business, we understand the need for flexibility in workdays and hours, and can provide you what you need to ensure you get the right balance.

 

The Role:

• Work with our head of production to lead both workshop and on-site teams in the fabrication and installation of projects 

• Assist in taking high level concept designs through to buildable and deliverable built assets

• Work with sales team and project managers to find smoothest process for delivery

• Liaise on site with clients and venue personnel during install

• Maintain tools, equipment and general workshop order

• Follow, refine and implement safety protocols and guidelines

 

The Skills we are looking for:

• Experienced in carpentry/shop-fitting and on-site installation

• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to problem solve at all stages of the build lifecycle

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to read & interpret plans
