In this role, you’ll be responsible for restoring vehicles to their best condition through tasks such as assessing damage, repairing dents, aligning frames, and replacing parts. Task & responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements. 
• Remove damaged panels, components, trims, and fittings prior to repairs. 
• Repair, reshape, and restore damaged vehicle panels using specialist hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment. 
• Replace severely damaged sections with new or repaired panels where necessary. 
• Straighten vehicle frames and chassis using hydraulic pulling and alignment equipment. 
• Weld, rivet, and bond replacement panels and structural components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 
• Fill dents and imperfections using body fillers and prepare repaired surfaces for painting. 
• Sand, grind, and smooth repaired panels to achieve a high-quality finish. 
• Measure and check vehicle body alignment to ensure accurate fit and structural integrity. 
• Reassemble repaired vehicles, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functional. 
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and comply with workplace health and safety procedures. 
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair
• Proven experience as a Panel beater
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's licence
