As a Sales Representative at RV World Wodonga, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of premium recreational vehicles. This is a full-time position based in Wodonga, VIC, where you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their purchasing journey and ensuring they find the perfect RV to suit their needs and lifestyle. As a family-owned business, RV World Wodonga inspires travelers to launch their RV and Motorhome adventure through excellent customer service, sales and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and develop expert-level product knowledge of all RV brands and models sold.

  • Participate in scheduled in-house sales and product training sessions to remain up to date with features, compliance, and competitor offerings.

  • Convert new leads into confirmed sales through proactive engagement with customers from walk-ins, phone calls, website enquiries, and social media referrals.

  • Obtain pre-sale authorisation on pricing and terms from the Management before presenting any offers to customers.

  • Ensure complete and accurate use of the Eclipse CRM system to manage leads, track communication, and progress deals.

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with customers awaiting factory orders to manage expectations and build trust.

  • Support the valuation process of trade-ins and second-hand stock in collaboration with senior staff.

  • Place factory orders as directed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requests.

  • Ensure all display stock is presented cleanly, professionally, and in a layout that enhances customer experience.

  • Open and close the yard daily and assist with periodic reorganisation of the display layout.

  • Deliver detailed and welcoming handovers to clients receiving their vans, including walkthroughs and paperwork.

  • Process contracts, deposits, purchase agreements, and other documentation in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide support and backup to other sales staff during busy periods, absences, or high-volume events.

  • Contribute ideas for and assist in executing marketing campaigns and website/social media updates.

  • Actively support the planning, setup, and participation in RV World's annual trade shows, including caravan expos and open days.

  • Collaborate with both Wodonga and Canberra sales teams to develop and deliver cross-location sales strategies and events such as, Pop-up displays at local shopping centres or regional expos or End-of-financial-year clearance events.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a retail, automotive, or caravan sales environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and meet/exceed targets.

  • Confident and professional phone manner.

  • Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. Eclipse or similar).

  • Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up tasks independently.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Competency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Full Australian driver's licence.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Ability to work Saturdays and participate in trade shows/events.

  • Right to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

  • Ability to work Saturdays regularly and participate in trade shows/events including occasional overnight travel within Victoria, NSW and ACT

DESIRABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in caravan, automotive, marine, or lifestyle product sales.

  • Familiarity with the RV industry, manufacturers, and product ranges.

  • Understanding of finance options, trade-in processes, and consumer purchasing behaviour.

  • Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection or valuation.

  • Basic knowledge of recreational towing, off-grid power systems, and RV specifications.

  • Ability to contribute to digital and in-person marketing initiatives.
