Steelcraft Framing is a leading steel house framing business experiencing strong growth. To further enhance the support we provide to our valued customers, we have an exciting opportunity for a Second Class Welder.

The Role:

This role will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations, focusing on various welding tasks to ensure the quality and integrity of our steel frames. The primary focus will be on performing welding duties efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and supporting the production team. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or related industry, will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding: Be able to read plans and perform welding tasks quickly and to the right standard.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Quality Control: Ensure all welds meet quality standards and rectify any defects.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Support Production: Assist with other production tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Work Hours:

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:32pm. (Summer) - Flexibility required.
