What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III Scaffolding qualification over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and Host employer, Pipeline Scaffolding.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the workshop, including the movement and storage of scaffolding materials and general housekeeping duties. 
• Participate in the safe and efficient movement of scaffolding materials, both in the workshop and on-site, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
• Assist qualified scaffolders in all aspects of scaffolding work, including the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
• Learn and utilise hand tools and battery-operated power tools effectively and safely

 

What you'll bring to the table…

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following criteria:

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Basic literacy and computer skills
• Commitment to full term of the traineeship and study requirements
• Current drivers licence (P1 or higher at commencement of the traineeship)
• WHS Construction Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, including audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening and functional capacity assessment.
