About the Role

Waverley BYD is seeking a motivated and reliable Pre-Delivery Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing new BYD vehicles for delivery, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and are presented to the highest quality before reaching our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles in accordance with manufacturer requirements
• Fit accessories and carry out vehicle preparation work as required
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready
• Accurately document completed work and follow dealership procedures
• Assist with vehicle stock maintenance and workshop presentation
• Work collaboratively with the sales, service and parts departments

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Experience carrying out pre-delivery inspections or vehicle preparation work highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Current driver's licence
• Australian working rights
