About the role

Richtek Roofing is seeking an experienced Roof Plumbing Supervisor to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based in Perth WA 6000, where you will take a leadership role overseeing roof plumbing operations and guiding our trades team. As Roof Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role is integral to maintaining Richtek Roofing's reputation for excellence in the roofing and plumbing industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervising and coordinating roof plumbing teams on-site, ensuring all work meets company standards and client expectations

2. Managing project schedules, resource allocation and timelines to ensure efficient project delivery

3. Conducting quality inspections of roof plumbing work, identifying defects and implementing corrective actions

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards

5. Training and mentoring junior plumbers and apprentices in roof plumbing techniques and best practices

6. Liaising with clients, architects and other tradespeople to coordinate work and resolve on-site issues

7. Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on projects

8. Identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

9. Assisting in estimating project costs and managing budgets for assigned projects

10. Performing roof plumbing work including gutters, downpipes, flashings and water management systems

What we're looking for

1. Current roof plumbing license or equivalent qualification recognised in Western Australia

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in roof plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

3. Strong knowledge of roof plumbing systems, materials and installation techniques

4. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage teams effectively

5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and team members

6. Sound understanding of relevant building codes, Australian Standards and workplace safety legislation

7. Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications and technical drawings

8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently on-site

9. Valid driver's license and reliable transport
