About the role

Evolve Roofing is seeking experienced Metal Roofing Tradesmen and enthusiastic Apprentices to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity to work on a variety of exciting roofing projects and contribute to the success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Professionally install and repair metal roofing systems, including cutting, bending, and fixing metal sheets

Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of roofing projects

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols

• Mentor and train Apprentices, passing on your expertise and industry knowledge

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our roofing processes and techniques

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Metal Roofing or a related Building Trades discipline

• Certificate III in Roof Plumbing is specifically required for this position

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Metal Roofing Tradesman, with a proven track record of high-quality work

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to specifications

• Good problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team

• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Australian work rights are essential for this position

• A keen interest in continuously improving your skills and supporting the development of others

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the Banksmeadow worksite

• Current Working at Heights certification and White Card

• Working at Heights certification must be held at the time of application

• Physical capability to lift up to 25kg and work in various weather conditions

• For Apprentices: • Completed Year 10 or equivalent • Eligible to enter into an Australian apprenticeship agreement

• Apprentice applicants must be a minimum of 17 years old
