Task & responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Provide advice regarding the mechanical condition of vehicles;
• Perform Logbook servicing, along with minor or major repairs, warranty work and insurance inspections;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues;
• Carry out a variety of mechanical repairs/maintenance;
• Conduct test drives and quality assurance inspections;
• Compile and maintain service records;
• Understand the significance of safety in the workshop and adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) guidelines and procedures;
• Maintain and repair workshop equipment as necessary to ensure operational efficiency;
• Perform tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment as required;
• Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned to support the smooth operation of the workshop.

Qualification & experience

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Minimum Certificate III in Automotive Technology;
• Relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic (ideally 1 year +);
• Must have a drivers licence and reliable transport;
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
