Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Procurement within the automotive, manufacturing or engineering industries

• Perform at a high-level using MYOB software is an advantage

• Forklift license - highly regarded

• Experienced dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarding

• Analytical approach to problem solving

• Ability to meet project deadlines with a sense of urgency approach in a fast-paced environment

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the Stores & Purchasing modules within the ERP system

• Monitor purchase order status and liaise with all Triple Eight departments to align stock levels with purchasing requirements

• Oversee the processing and shipping of customer orders both domestically and internationally

• Ensure stock-on-hand requirements are consistently met while proactively tracking and ordering urgent items to meet project timelines

• Coordinate the sending and receiving of components/parts for external processes such as heat treatment, blackening, and anodizing

• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to forecast and maintain appropriate stock levels, ensuring readiness for upcoming production demands

• Act as the primary contact for communication with both national and international suppliers, ensuring timely procurement and delivery
