This position will contribute to the supervision and assistance to contractors and is required to exercise independent judgement on routine matters. There is a requirement to participate in an on call roster providing service and advice out of normal working hours. Key Responsibilities Manage required maintenance duties and tasks Undertake a daily operational and maintenance check of all plant, equipment and buildings. Perform general maintenance / handyman duties or work across other trade areas within skill level, as required Demonstrate understanding of the relevant Australian Standards associated with maintenance of a private hospital facility Participate in after hours on call service, performing after hours maintenance /emergency tasks as required What you bring Relevant Trade experience desirable but not necessary (Plumbing, Mechanical fitter, electrical or Carpentry) Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, preferably hospitals Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Effective interpersonal and communication skills A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation For any question please contact Chris Hogarth, General Manager via email on [email protected] Why work for Calvary?
