Northern Rivers Towing are a leading Towing & Transport company servicing Northern NSW, South East Queensland and beyond, working with our contracted providers, to service vehicle accidents, breakdowns, roadside assistance and machinery movements.

We are looking for a reliable, process driven Tow Truck Despatcher to join our team. This permanent position involves a variety of responsibilities and requires working as part of a rotating roster, inc. some nights and weekends.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

·         Respond to incoming calls and provide timely, efficient support to customers. 

·         Address and resolve customer service inquiries in accordance with operational procedures. 

·         Provide general administrative support to the team. 

·         Oversee communication within the Dispatch office, including phone, radio, and email channels. 

·         Coordinate and schedule dispatching of driver operators, trucks, and other response vehicles for both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as transportation and equipment needs. 

About You:

To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate: 

·         Prior experience in customer service or a similar role. 

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

·         Proficiency in computer operations and software applications. 

·         Great phone and communication manner.

·         Ability to multitask.

·         Work under pressure.

·         Data entry. 

·         Present well.

·         Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  

·         Ability to work effectively within a team in a supportive role.

·         Be self-motivated and hardworking.  

·         Enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn. 

·         Excellent verbal communication skills. 

·         Provide support to the drivers and management.
