The full time role involves repairing and restoring vehicle panels, constructing and fitting frameworks, preparing and installing interior trims, and applying high-quality finishes. It ensures vehicles are restored to manufacturer standards, meeting safety, aesthetic, and functional requirements.

Applicant must have a qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting 

Main Tasks and skill set required:

§ Panel and Body Repairs

· Remove, replace, and repair damaged panels using mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

· Fill, sand, and shape surfaces to restore original contours.

§ Framework Construction and Assembly

· Construct and assemble frameworks in metal, wood, fibreglass, and composites.

· Bolt, screw, rivet, and weld components to form complete structures.

§ Panel Cutting and Shaping

· Cut and shape sheetmetal, aluminium, and reinforced plastics.

· Attach panels to frameworks using hand and power tools.

§ Trim Work Preparation

· Prepare and remove vehicle interior fittings according to drawings.

· Take measurements for new coverings and components.

§ Material Cutting and Sewing

· Select and cut fabric, vinyl, and leather.

· Sew pieces using heavy-duty sewing machines.

§ Interior Installation

· Install linings, floor coverings, trims, armrests, locks, and handles.

§ Painting and Finishing

· Mask areas, mix paint, apply primer and finish coats, and sand between coats
