This Isn't Your Typical Plumbing Role.
You're already a great plumber. Maybe now it's time to become a great leader.
Leading a crew, developing apprentices, making good decisions under pressure and creating a team that people enjoy being part of takes something more than technical ability.
It takes leadership.
At Harrington Drainage, we believe our Team Leaders do far more than lay pipe and set grades. They set the standard, solve problems, coach others and create an environment where quality, communication and teamwork come first.
That's exactly who we're looking for.
Why Harrington Drainage?
You've worked hard to become a skilled tradesperson.
If you're looking for the opportunity to step into leadership with the right support behind you, we'd love to talk.
We're a growing residential drainage company based in Geelong, specialising in drainage for Victoria's leading volume builders. Our reputation has been built on quality workmanship, professionalism and strong relationships, and we know none of that happens without a great team.
Our Core Values are simple:
Communication. Excellence. Ownership.
They're not just words on a wall—they guide the way we work every day.
When you join Harrington Drainage, you're not simply stepping into another plumbing role. You're joining a business that wants to help you grow as a leader. Whether your future is as a Senior Team Leader, Project Manager, Operations Manager or beyond, we'll help you develop the skills to get there.
The Role
You'll lead your own residential drainage crew across Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and surrounding areas, reporting directly to our Project Manager.
You'll be responsible for delivering quality work safely, efficiently and professionally while creating a crew that enjoys coming to work and takes pride in what they achieve together.
Your role will include:
Leading your team by example every day.
Mentoring apprentices and helping develop the next generation of tradespeople.
Coordinating your crew to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality work.
Communicating with the Project Manager to keep projects running smoothly.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and presentation.
Creating a positive team culture built on respect, accountability and ownership.
Solving problems on site and making sound decisions under pressure.
The quality of your leadership will directly influence the experience of your crew, the development of your apprentices and the reputation Harrington Drainage has with every builder we work for. That's a responsibility we take seriously—and we'll support you every step of the way.
