About the role

RCI Building Services is seeking an experienced Plumbing Copper Welder to join our team in Clayton, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for expertly welding copper pipes and fittings to high-quality standards, ensuring the reliability and safety of our plumbing systems.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing copper pipe welding to industry standards

2. Interpreting and following plumbing schematics and floor plans

3. Collaborating with plumbers and other tradespeople to complete complex plumbing projects

4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

5. Adhering to all health, safety and quality control procedures

6. 
   

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification as a plumber with extensive copper welding experience

2. Minimum 9+ years of copper welding experience required

3. Demonstrated expertise in copper pipe welding techniques and quality standards

4. Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and technical specifications

5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

7. Effective communication and teamwork skills

8. Commitment to workplace health and safety

9. Australian citizenship is required for this position
