What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrade works in accordance with PAS service definitions
• Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage and other plumbing systems across the base
• Undertake backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified
• Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• QBCC Plumbing Licence (QLD),
• Post-trade experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a facilities or Defence environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform plumbing system maintenance, drainage and water system management
• Backflow Prevention Certification and Gas Work Licence (Type A) (desirable)
• Current Open Driver's Licence.
• Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
