ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER
Our host employer offers a fantastic opportunity for apprentices looking to broaden their plastering skills across a wide variety of works. You’ll gain experience in both commercial and residential projects, mainly throughout Brisbane’s inner city and southern suburbs.
When required, the host employer also provides transport for apprentices to Gold Coast job sites, giving you access to even more diverse project experience without the stress of long-distance travel.
This is an excellent environment for apprentices who want steady work, strong mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas of the plastering trade.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Plastering Apprentice (open to 1st–3rd year) to join a skilled team and work toward completing a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.
This full-time apprenticeship includes hands-on work on a mix of residential homes, commercial buildings, renovations, and new construction projects.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installing plasterboard sheets on walls and ceilings
• Applying and smoothing compounds for joints, corners, and finishing work
• Fixing cornices and decorative features
• Basic framing and preparation work
• Working with hand and power tools safely
• Reading and interpreting drawings and site instructions
• Supporting qualified plasterers across multiple sites
• General labouring and site clean-up as needed
• Travelling with the team to Gold Coast job sites when required (transport provided)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (overtime may be available depending on workload)
