We provide practical, innovative, and compliance-focused solutions, including engineering services, third-party inspections, and NDT services, tailored to support our clients’ reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements. 

About the Role

We are looking for a certified and experienced Plant Inspector to join our Perth Inspection Team to conduct Plant inspections throughout Western Australia. You will ideally have experience in a similar inspection role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a young company and play an important role in our growth journey. 

The role includes FIFO (rostered or project-based) and Perth metro work, based out of our High Wycombe office, Monday to Friday with overtime as required.

You will work alongside project engineers, maintenance teams, HSE personnel and other relevant stakeholders to ensure all plant meets regulatory requirements and industry best practice. API510 or AICIP is essential.

Role Accountabilities

  • Perform inspections, testing, and audits on registered plant, including pressure vessels, cranes, and lifting equipment, using specialist inspection and testing equipment

  • Prepare high-quality inspection and compliance reports tailored to client and regulatory requirements

  • Use knowledge and skills, from qualifications and experience, to assess compliance in accordance with relevant WA legislation and Standards.

  • Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams to prioritise remedial works.

  • Provide technical support and advice related to compliance matters to clients.

  • Liaise with Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and Worksafe on client’s registered plant assets.

What we are looking for

Applicants must possess the following:

  • API510 or AICIP Pressure equipment inspection qualifications and relevant experience in the inspections space.

  • Demonstrated experience in the inspection of cranes and lifting equipment.

  • Good understanding of all relevant Australian Standards applicable to the Plant Inspection role in Western Australia.

  • Attention to detail, report writing skills, self-motivated to comply with client reporting timelines.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Current WA drivers’ license.

  • Willingness to travel to site as required.

Desirable Criteria

  • AINDT/ PCN/ ISO 9712 NDT qualifications/API 653 certification

  • Experience working with Tier-1 mining operators (Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP or similar)

  • Engineering background, trade qualification, or High-Risk Work Licence
