SLG Automotive Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN: 19 678 932 628) is an automotive service and repair business located at 46 Station Street, Cranbourne VIC 3977. Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.  This role is integral to the workshop's day to day operations and involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles in a fast- paced, quality-focused environment.

Salary: $75000 - $85000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Task & responsibilities

Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a range of vehicles inline with industry standards.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and established testing procedures.

Conduct inspections and provide accurate evidence based assessments of vehicle conditions.

Replace or repair worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and other essential components.

Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualification & experience

Relevant qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology ( Certificate iii or higher) or equivalent industry experience ( minimum of two years where holding a Certificate iii or Certificate iV)

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working as a Motor Mechanic.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment

Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand instructions and convey technical information clearly

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a consistent approach to meeting workplace expectations

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a workshop environment
