About the role

Trend Group is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. This is a casual position with the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects. As a Pipelayer, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of underground pipes and services, contributing to the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Excavating and preparing trenches for pipe installation

• Laying, aligning, and joining various types of pipes, including water, sewer, and drainage pipes

• Backfilling and compacting trenches to ensure the stability and integrity of the pipeline

• Assisting with the installation of other underground services, such as electrical and communications cables

• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar construction role

• Proficiency in the use of pipelaying equipment and tools

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks

• A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of construction site safety protocols

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
