About the role

As a full-time Brick and Block Layer at Dynamic masonry, you will play a crucial role in constructing high-quality residential and commercial buildings in the Kawana Waters area. This hands-on position requires expertise in all aspects of masonry, from laying bricks and blocks to finishing and grouting. With a focus on attention to detail and safety, you will work collaboratively with the construction team to deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately measure, cut and lay bricks and blocks to specification

2. Mix and apply mortar for laying bricks and blocks

3. Ensure accurate alignment, plumb and level of masonry work

4. Finish masonry work with grouting and pointing

5. Read and interpret architectural plans and building specifications

6. Collaborate with the construction team to problem-solve and provide recommendations

7. Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Brick and Block Layer

2. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations

3. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and building specifications

4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

5. Strong communication and teamwork skills

6. Commitment to safe work practices and a positive safety culture

7. Driver's licence and reliable transportation
