We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Ringwood. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards. Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in engines and other vehicle components using visual inspections, diagnostic tools, and equipment.

Remove and dismantle engines, transmissions, cylinder heads, suspensions, steering mechanisms, and other components for thorough inspection and repair.

Replace worn or faulty parts, reassemble mechanical components, and consult service manuals as needed.

Perform scheduled logbook services, including oil changes, lubrication, brake inspections, and ensure vehicles meet current emission standards.

Reconstruct and reinstall engines and their components to restore full functionality.

Evaluate and fine-tune mechanical components after repairs for optimal performance.

Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify issues and assess the functionality of vehicle systems.

Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with roadworthy standards and provide repair recommendations where necessary.

Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Clean vehicles for customer pickup when required.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

Full qualification as an Automotive Motor Mechanic.

A minimum of 1 year of experience working in the automotive industry.

Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical faults.

Competence in servicing and repairing vehicles of all makes and models.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A current, full driver’s license.

Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) accreditation is highly desirable.
