We're looking for a motivated and reliable Sign Installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role installing a wide range of high-quality signage across Sydney and interstate. As a Sign Installer, you'll represent our company on-site, delivering professional installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing a variety of signage, including illuminated signs, pylons, architectural cladding, and wayfinding systems.

• Reading and interpreting production drawings, plans and work orders to ensure accurate installation.

• Carrying out quality checks before, during and after installation.

• Operating hand and power tools safely and correctly.

• Working safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, EWPs and other access equipment (where licensed and authorised).

• Driving company vehicles to project sites throughout Sydney and, when required, interstate.

• Loading, unloading and transporting signage and installation equipment.

• Taking clear site photographs to document completed installations.

• Maintaining accurate job records and installation documentation.

• Assisting with factory production and preparation work when installation work is not scheduled.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Communicating professionally with clients and escalating any site issues promptly.

• Following all company policies, procedures and WHS requirements.

Experience & Licences

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience installing commercial signage (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).

• A current Australian Driver Licence (essential).

• White Card (Construction Induction) (essential).

• Working at Heights certification (preferred).

• EWP, Forklift or other relevant licences (advantageous).

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• The ability to read plans and technical drawings.

Travel & Flexibility

This role involves travel throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, with occasional interstate travel for major projects. Some projects may require early starts, late finishes or overnight stays, so flexibility is important.

Safety First

Safety is a core part of everything we do. You'll be expected to:

• Follow all WHS legislation, company policies and safe work procedures.

• Wear the required PPE and company uniform.

• Identify and report hazards.

• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and ongoing training.

• Help maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role and requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry materials (including items over 25kg, with appropriate manual handling techniques or team lifting where required).

• Stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend and work at heights throughout the day.

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Safely operate installation equipment and access machinery.
