About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Installer to join our growing team at Skilled Electrical and Solar in Minchinbury, NSW. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, ensuring our customers receive high-quality, reliable and efficient renewable energy solutions.

What you'll be doing

1. Install and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including the mounting of solar panels, inverters and other components

2. Conduct site assessments, provide recommendations and prepare installation plans

3. Liaise with customers to understand their energy needs and provide personalized solutions

4. Perform regular maintenance and servicing of existing solar systems

5. Comply with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards

6. Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the installation process

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Solar Installer or Electrician, with a strong understanding of solar PV systems

2. Relevant trade qualifications, such as an Electrical License and Clean Energy Council accreditation

3. Excellent technical skills and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics

4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues

5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers effectively

6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

7. A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required

8. Battery accreditation preferred - also willing to pay for this to the right candidate willing to obtain
