Task & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Prepares surfaces of vehicles, matches and mixes colours, and applies paint.

Duties:
•    Cleans, sands, and masks vehicle surfaces in preparation for painting
•    Mixes and matches paint colors according to vehicle specifications
•    Applies paint evenly and smoothly using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
•    Applies clear coats and other protective finishes to painted surfaces
•    Examines finished paintwork for quality and carries out touch-ups or corrections as needed
 

Qualification & experience

Preferred Qualifications:
•    AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
•    AQF Certificate IV

Experience:
•    At least three years of relevant experience.
